British Embassy in Liechtenstein
Firstly if you are in Liechtenstein on holiday and lost your passport. Secondly report this to the police for a police report. Thirdly this report you will need to obtain a new passport or travel document. Lastly if you need to leave then you can apply for a emergency passport or apply for a passport. If you are on holiday then a temporary passport will allow you to leave the country. If you live in Liechtenstein then you will need to wait for the passport. When you have your passport you will need to transfer your visa for Liechtenstein from the lost passport to the new passport. For this you will need to original or copy of your police report. Likewise if you are getting married. You will need a letter from the Embassy to state that you are single. You must have your original divorce decree or the death certificate of your late spouse. The letter takes a few days and you will need to collect this. Likewise when you have it you will have this verified as authentic by the Liechtenstein government. Then have this translated and certified. You can now register your marriage in Liechtenstein.
Additionally if you gave birth in Liechtenstein you will need the birth certificate from the government and paperwork from the hospital. Make an appointment with the Embassy as there are requirements to register a British national born abroad at the Embassy in Liechtenstein.
