If you’re in South Australia, Tasmania or Victoria then this Consulate will assist you. You can apply for an emergency travel document (ETD) while in the country if your passport has been lost or stolen, damaged or expired. If you cant wait for another one then the emergency passport will be issued if you have to travel. Note that you have to report your lost or stolen passport to the local police. They will issue you with a case number and you will need this for the new passport application.

You can however still convert civil partnerships into marriages at the Consulate. You will need your passport and ID card of your partner. Also the original civil partnership certificate, proof of residence and the proper fees.
